As many of you know I spent the week touring baseball/softball stadiums in the state of Michigan. I watched Katie play coach pitch softball, Sarah play in an adult league softball team, and John play high school baseball. They were all so incredibly different but surprisingly very similar.
They all had to wait their turn to bat.
They all had a chance at bat. I think Sarah had one at bat resulting in a base hit. Katie batted three or four times and had a hit every time. John batted a couple of times with mixed results. :)
Because they all had a least one hit, they all spent some time on base.
And being on base means you will probably end up running at some point.
Did all of that waiting, hitting, waiting on base and running result in runs scored?
To be continued......

You realize that Katie isn't in the picture of the girls waiting to bat, right? That's her friend Jaden, a right-handed batter.
ah no, i will have to fix that.
fixed, i think!
I like John's "mixed results". The important thing is his one hit got the team two RBI's. And I can't believe Katie's team is sponsored by Keith Cozat Construction... some things never change I guess.
I'm going to echo Joni's comment -- way to go John!
woo thanks everyone haha. and those are some great pictures. i stole all of the ones of me :)
