My not that much younger brother, with help, had one more chore to do before dinner could be served. Yes, that lovely piece of meat had to make one more trip to the grill.
You aren't burning that are you? Remember I like mine medium rare.
While my not that much younger brother was tending the grill my youngest nephew was tending the stove. Yes, it was his job to mash the potatoes, with supervision of course. Does she have trust issues? First the grillers and now the masher.
Here come the shrimp! That caused some excitement when it arrived. We were getting a little bit worried that he didn't hear that there had been a change for the start of dinner.
But all was well, the shrimp had arrived, the meat was grilled to perfection and Michael had completed the mashing of the potatoes.
Just ignore the hand. Sheesh. Doesn't that look good? The men had done good.
Dinner was served.

I'm gonna go ahead and say I'd sacrifice gifts any day to have a Christmas like we had this year.
Ditto. I'm ready for a repeat.
